The MSc “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” provides for tuition fees of 500 € (five hundred euros) for the entire course of study, which postgraduate students are required to pay, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of Postgraduate Studies.
Postgraduate students who meet the criterion of excellence in the first cycle of studies, corresponding at least to a grade equal to or higher than seven and a half with a distinction out of ten (7,5/10), are entitled to free tuition on the basis of financial or social criteria. The specific terms and conditions of the right to free study in the MSc “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” provides are described in the legislation in force and in the relevant decision of the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs.
In addition, it is possible, by decision of the Assembly of the Department of Civil Engineering, depending on the income of the MSc, to grant scholarships to postgraduate students. Scholarships shall be awarded on the basis of academic, objective criteria, such as the overall evaluation grade of the application for admission to the MSc, or the academic performance based on the average grade of the previous semester, and shall be included in the approved budget of the MSc. The amount of the scholarship shall be determined by the MSc Steering Committee, and shall be announced when the MSc is announced.
